Senior Ballet Classes in London (Ages 14+)

The Leaders of Our School
Our Senior students occupy a special place at CWS Dance. They are the leaders of the school, the dancers that younger students look up to, and the ones who push themselves to the highest levels of the Cecchetti Ballet Syllabus.
Whether your teenager is preparing for a university dance programme, working towards UCAS points through dance qualifications, or simply wants to maintain and develop their training during their sixth form years, our Senior classes offer a challenging, welcoming, and most importantly supportive environment.
We understand the heavy demands of academic exams eg GCSE’s and A Levels and ensure our classes actively support their mental and physical wellbeing during these times. Whether they are looking for a healthy, stress-relieving outlet away from their studies or a way to deepen their passion, our classes provide a balanced space to keep moving, stay healthy, and build lifelong confidence.

Advanced Cecchetti Training
Senior classes work at the advanced levels of the Cecchetti syllabus, the culmination of years of structured, progressive training. At this level, the focus is on:
– Artistic maturity developing a genuine performance quality and individual style
– Technical excellence refining the precision and alignment built up through the earlier syllabus
– Physical conditioning maintaining the strength, flexibility, and control required at the highest levels of ballet
– Examination preparation for those working towards advanced Cecchetti qualifications
This is demanding work, and our students rise to meet it. The Senior class is a serious, focused environment and also a warm and supportive one.

Private Lessons for Auditions and Scholarship Applications
For Senior students working towards scholarships, associate programmes, auditions, or competitions, private 1:1 lessons with Miss Angelina are available.
About Miss Angelina
CWS Dance was founded by Angelina Spurrier, trained at the Paris Opera Ballet School and the Royal Ballet School’s Teachers Training Course. She holds memberships across RAD, I Path, ISTD (Imperial), ISTD (Cecchetti), and Rambert Grades, and has guided thousands of students through the Cecchetti syllabus over the course of her career.
Teaching at Senior level is where Angelina’s depth of experience and expertise is most directly felt. Students at this stage benefit from individual mentorship as much as technical instruction.
