When you enrol your child at CWS Dance, you aren’t just paying for a weekly class. You are investing in their future. Many of our dedicated students have gone on to use their dance achievements for UCAS points, have pursued careers in ballet and contemporary dance or have simply carried the confidence they gained here into their academic and professional lives.

Classes are bookable termly and subject to change annually. Number of classes per term are:

Autumn Term: 13 classes
Spring Term: 11 classes
Summer Term: 12 classes

FEES ARE SUBJECT TO REVIEW ANNUALLY in response to the rise in fixed costs. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions

Paying for classes is very easy. We use Go Cardless Direct Debit.

Once enrolled you will be sent a Go Cardless mandate form to complete; once your Direct Debit mandate has been received at our end, we will e-mail you an invoice together with a scheduled direct debit payment date; and a receipt when your payment has been processed.

Admittance to class is subject to the Direct Debit mandate being completed and submitted.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you wish to withdraw your child from CWS Dance classes, it is very important that you provide us with HALF A TERM’S NOTICE (at Half Term). This allows time for CWS Dance administration to cancel your direct debit for the following term. If we don’t receive your notice, you may be charged for the following term and late cancellation administration fees will apply.

We do not refund classes you cannot make. Classes are booked termly.
By e-mail request, and subject to availability a maximum of 2 ‘make up’ class per term could be arranged but this is not guaranteed.
In the unlikely event a class would be cancelled, a class credit or refund will be given.
You child will be automatically enrolled for the following term, unless notice has been provided.

How much do dance classes cost at CWS Dance? + -

Ballet and Modern Dance Theatre classes are £12.95 per class for a 45-minute lesson. Rambert Creative Movers and Contemporary Dance classes are £13 per class. Private lessons at the studio are £45. *prices correct as of April 2026

How are classes booked and paid for? + -

Classes are booked and paid for on a termly basis. We use GoCardless Direct Debit. Once enrolled, you will receive a mandate form to complete. After that is submitted, we will send you an invoice and a scheduled payment date.

How many classes are there per term? + -

The number of classes varies by term. The Autumn Term has 13 classes, the Spring Term has 11 and the Summer Term has 12.

Will my child be automatically re-enrolled each term? + -

Yes. Your child will be enrolled for the following term automatically unless you give notice to withdraw.

How do I cancel or withdraw my child from classes? + -

You need to give at least half a term’s notice, at half term. This allows us to cancel your Direct Debit before the next term begins. If we do not receive notice in time, you may be charged for the following term and a late cancellation administration fee may apply.

Do you offer refunds for missed classes? + -

We do not refund classes your child cannot attend. However, by email request and subject to availability, we may be able to arrange up to two make-up classes per term. This cannot be guaranteed.

What happens if CWS Dance cancels a class? + -

In the unlikely event that we cancel a class, you will receive either a class credit or a refund.

Are fees reviewed regularly? + -

Yes, fees are reviewed annually in line with rising fixed costs. Any changes will be communicated in advance.

Can I try a class before committing to a full term? + -

Yes. Trial classes are available. Get in touch to arrange one and we can advise on the right class for your child.
