This exciting new class is a dynamic fusion of styles. Your child will explore the energetic and stylised movements of Jazz Dance, the dynamic fun of Commercial Dance (think pop concerts and music videos!), the grounded theatrical character work of Modern Dance Theatre (inspired by productions like The Lion King, Matilda, Wicked).
MODERN DANCE THEATRE 6-7 yrs
What a 6-7 Years Modern Dance Theatre Class Involves:
Dancers start by warming up and stretching; with gentle exercises to prepare their bodies for class, improving flexibility and preventing injury.
Your child will explore the energetic and stylised movements of Jazz Dance, the dynamic fun of Commercial Dance (think pop concerts and music videos!), the grounded theatrical character work of Modern Dance Theatre (inspired by productions like The Lion King, Matilda, Wicked).
Pupils learn short, simple dance routines and this will culminate in a demonstration performance at the end of the academic year.
Children finish their class with a Cool-Down.
